Joe Edwin Price, Sr.

Joe Edwin Price, Sr., passed away peacefully on January 25, 2017, at the family home. He was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church. Joe retired from American Airlines after 38 years of service. He was initiated and entered apprentice mason in 1966. He was past Master of New Providence Lodge #128, past High Priest of Maryville Chapter #186 R.A.M., past Illustrious Master of Pride Council #103 R.S.M., past Commander Cyprus Commandry #23 K. T. and member of Mary Blount Chapter O.E.S. #133. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lela Price; wife of 60 years, Mary Lou Price; sister, Mildred Price; brothers, Harlan and Charles H. Price. He is survived by daughter, Susan Daffron (Mark Sheridan); sons, Joe, Jr. (Song), Philip and Tommy Price; granddaughters, Amy Moinet and Lisa Price; grandson, Jason (Kayla) Daffron; great-grandson, T. J. Polack and great granddaughter, Katie Daffron. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Laura Rasor officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at East TN Veterans Cemetery, Gov. John Sevier Highway, for a graveside service with Military Honors and a Masonic service. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Broadway United Methodist Church, Maryville, or New Providence Masonic Temple, Maryville.
