Jennie Latham, age 46 of Gibson City, Illinois and formerly of Mazon, Illinois passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 4, 2020 at her home.

Born September 3, 1973 in Joliet, Illinois Jennifer Anne is a daughter of John “Lucky” Latham and the late Stephanie (Biros) Latham. She was raised and educated in Mazon and graduated from Seneca High School with the Class of 1991. She worked as a CNA at Walnut Grove in Morris, and continued her career of love and care at home raising her children. Jennie was a devout Catholic and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Kinsman. She enjoyed cooking, canning and suntanning while floating in her pool. Jennie’s greatest hobby was her family, and she cherished spending time with family, friends, and especially her grandson, Archer.

Survivors include her father; three children: Brooke (Garet) Stewart of Arrowsmith, Illinois, Lane Conway (Brittany Rogers) of Marseilles, Illinois and Seth Conway of Morris, Illinois; one grandson, Archer Stewart; one brother, Tony (Lindsey) Latham of Ankeny, Iowa; three sisters: Jill (Matt) Niewinski of Dwight, Illinois, Alana (John) McNabb of Morris, Illinois and Alicia (Dennis) McLaughlin of Manhattan, Illinois; seven nieces, six nephews, and aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as her friend, Dean Glenn of Morris.

Jennie was preceded in death by her mother, Stephanie (Biros) Latham in 1999; special uncle, Butch Steele; grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles.

The family had a private family visitation at Reeves Funeral Home in Coal City, before Jennie was taken to the mountains of Tennessee, which she dearly loved. A private funeral service will be held at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville, TN. She will be laid to rest in Knob Creek Cemetery in Sevier County, Seymour, Tennessee.

Pallbearers will be: Garet Stewart, Corey Slagle, Mason McNabb, Norman McNabb, John McNabb and Chase Johnson.

Preferred memorials may be made in Jennie’s memory to her family for their distribution and for her grandson’s future.
