McKeehan, Fred Armon, age 65 of Friendsville, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2004, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and bus driver for the Childrens Ministry. He was the first non-family member of the gospel singing group, “The Chuck Wagon Gang” from 1957-1999. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred L. “Steve” McKeehan and his wife, Waunie J. McKeehan. Survivors include his mother, Grace R. McKeehan; son, Armon Lee McKeehan; son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Joan McKeehan; daughter, Elaine McKeehan; mother of his children, Sharon McKeehan; grandchildren, Laura K. Head, Kathleen McKeehan, Kayla McKeehan and Jace McKeehan; stepdaughter, Emily Chambers; step grandchild, Cole Chambers. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Hatley and Rev. A. J. Rowland officiating. The interment will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in Sherwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
