Elaine Butcher

Elaine Butcher, age 89, of Maryville passed away January 28, 2023. She was a longtime member of Middlesettlements United Methodist Church. She was a Red Cross and Blount Memorial Hospital volunteer for many years. Elaine and her husband did missionary work all over the country and abroad. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Butcher; daughter, Sandy Sawyer.

She is survived by her son, Foy Morton (April); daughter, Teresa Gail Morton; son-in-law, Allen Sawyer; grandchildren, Lynn Morton, Lacy Lotter, Mike and Tim Kline; great-grandchildren, Haven, Ben and Amber Morton, Jackson and Katie Rose Lotter, Clover Rae Kline and Andrew Brown; beloved pet, Missy Marshmellow.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home and the service will follow at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Megan Stubblefield officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Liberty Christian Cemetery.
