E. Kelly Pearson, II, died suddenly at Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center in Houston, TX on Friday, November 7, 2003. He attended St. Peter’s United Methodist Church in Houston. Kelly held a B.S. degree from U. T. Knoxville in business. He had been a Furniture Sales Representative in Houston and the entire Texas area for 25 years. He was a native to Maryville and Columbia, TN. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward K. Pearson. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth L. Pearson, his sister, Jeanne Redwine and husband Dr. Al Redwine all of Maryville. His nieces were Jenni Simmons and husband Jeff Simmons of Cookeville, TN, Becky Redwine of Nashville, TN and Julie Redwine of New London, CT. There will be a private interment service at Grandview Cemetery on Friday, November 14. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home followed by a memorial service with Dr. Jim Dougherty officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Helping Hand Fund at Broadway United Methodist Church, 309 E. Broadway, Maryville, TN 37804 (865-982-6192). There will also be a memorial service for Kelly in Texas on Thursday, November 20, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter’s United Methodist Church, 20775 Kingsland Drive, Katy, TX 77450 (281-492-8031).
